PS5 Pro is upscaling from 640p. A 4060 for sure will play games at 640p and upscale them to whatever you want them to.

The CPU in the pro is weak, and the reason the games that don’t hit 60fps on PS5 also won’t hit 60fps on the Pro.

You can build a PC that will hit 60fps on those games and match whatever the Pro’s output resolution is for games with a 4060 easily.

No one is buying a PS5 Pro for fukking Call of Duty.

Y'all keep harping on the components, but as long as Sony values exclusives, there are folks who will buy a PS5 Pro/PS6.

No one is paying $800 for PS5 Pro to play God of War Ragnarok, at the same resolution and FPS as a PS5 in 2024

this isnt 2006 anymore. People who want an easy to use, plug and play, budget gaming service buy consoles. Thats why exclusives for PS5 dont really sell well in comparison to the games people actually want to play (Diablo, Call of Duty, NBA 2k)

We already on that 8k 60 FPS wave on PCs since a few years ago, but enjoy your little 4k 60 fps slow motion exclusives that people beat in a day

Anyway, @Mowgli im about to load up Apex Legends at max settings and lock it at 150 fps since I dont got 240 hz monitors yet

can you do the same on PS5 ? no you stuck on medium/high settings mix and 120 fps

You are upscaling games from very low internal resolutions to output 2k/4k

The 4060 will meet or exceed the PS5 pro GPU in internal resolution+Upscaling results on screen.
