Going old school with it but Elgin Baylor. Made the Finals 8 times with the Lakers and lost every single time, he then retired 9 games into the 1971-72 season because of injuries. The Lakers proceeded to go on the longest winning streak in NBA history and won the title.

They ended up giving him a ring for that year out of sympathy :mjcry:

For years I think, why couldn't the nikka just come out of retirement once he saw that 33 game win streak? Who cares, just play 5 min a game if you that injured :why:

never understood why the colts gave edgerrin a ring. I wouldnt accept it, but it's whatever


mussina was great his last year too. I wanted him to get that ring.
