I definitely agree with you as far as these dudes never liking C3 to begin with but there are albums I no longer listen to because they aged badly.
I never listened to an old album that I liked and thought it aged badly. Something’s become overplayed that you don’t want to hear them anymore

I just think it sounds like that era of music. C3 sounds like 2008

Streamer culture is so wack. You have this dude playing dressup in front of his computer, probably applying lip gloss and painting his nails, and then these kids are holding their breath whether he's going to bob his head to some music or give a little frown :russ: The album sounds exactly the same as it did back then. If anything, it aged well because it popularized punching in bars, leaking songs for promo and acting and looking like a fakkit, all things his generation is obsessed with.

This is honestly no different than the blog era, mixtape era or begging a DJ in the club

It all boils down to a nikka showing you favor

Just listened again. It still sounds great to this day.

I don’t like “La La” too much though. I like the hook and Wayne’s verse mostly.

I can skip “Got Money” and the outro track as well.

Otherwise every song still hits.

3peat to Mr Carter to A Milli :wow:

Shoot Me Down is amazing.

Let the beat build is amazing.

Lollipop changed the game. First big autotune hit by a rapper.

Mrs Officer a classic. Still popular to this day.

Dr Carter is great. Awesome concept.

Comfortable is timeless.

It’s a really good album. Classic.

He's a lot like J Cole in that regard

Now Wayne's albums are considered more highly regarded universally than Cole's

But to me, there legacies are tied to their guest features way more than their albums.
Wayne had classic albums and mixtapes plus the Hot Boyz to mixtapes to saving Cash Money to finding Drake and Nicki legacy. He has done way more than Cole.

Cole sucks tbh. One above average album.
