None of Wayne's music has aged that well to be honest. He is one of the most overrated artists ever; I'll cringe anytime somebody mentions him or any of his albums as being all-time caliber music.

I understand people have their own tastes and perspectives on what they consider to be “good” music, but still, it just says a lot about that person's Hip-hop knowledge if they believe Lil Wayne is an all-time great or top 5-10, let alone 20-50 of all-time.

When I was a dumb ass kid in high school, around 2010-2013, sadly I used to think he was my favorite rapper, blasting his music throughout the hallways, but as I got older and expanded my Hip-hop knowledge, y'know taking the time to listen to music from the 80s, 90s, 00s, etc, and discovering better present-day artists, I realized Wayne was trash 🗑️ in comparison, haven't listened to an album of his since probably 2015-16.

Some music is timeless, no matter the era, but his music suffers from what a lot of Hip-hop of the mid-00s and early 2010, which is being dated but also just bad in general in terms of lyrics. Now, sometimes music being dated can be a good thing, but other times it could be bad, and his isn't dated in a good way.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
What kind of revisionist history is y’all going on with? This streamer is too young to remember what it was like but when C3 dropped it was popular and damn near everywhere. It’s the album that took Wayne to the stratosphere popularity wise too and that’s when people were really putting him in the GOAT conversation.
Yea. It was overhyped as fukk based off anticipation. But the leaked songs were better. And his prior 2 albums were better as well.

The aging of entertainment is the dumbest shyt ever

People who didn’t like C3 in 2008 are now in 2025 trying to say something aged bad…smh

Aging is based on how much you enjoyed it back in its day

Wasn't even that good when it dropped
Lowkey one of the most overrated albums ever. I always thought it was weird to even put it in the same convo as the first 2. The idea that it's classic or Wayne's best is crazy to me.

I'm taking C4 over C3 :hubie:

Honestly, C3 is a very uneven album that got hurt badly by the leaks.

There's songs that hold up well(Let The Beat Build/A Milli) and others that have aged like sour milk(Got Money, Phone Home).

It's one of those albums where, without experiencing the Wayne hype of 07-08 and nostalgia, it's hard to view it as a top tier album.

C1 and C2 were much more cohesive and consistent by comparison.

Album still had crazy impact though. Wayne didn't become a megastar until C3 and C3 was the album that really got the Young Money dynasty blowing. Without C3, not just Wayne's but Drake and Nicki's careers would look different.

Saying something didnt age well isnt revisionist history you dumbass nikka. Stop spamming buzzwords and terms when you dont know what the fukk they mean
Something is wrong with you bro. People can have different opinions. Nothing is overtly wrong with Carter 3 now either, it has its misses then but the good songs on there are still good. So miss me with that hostility pumping up your chest typing on a phone
