What’s crazy is that it was his left shoulder but he’s a right handed pitcher so he could still dominate pitching just like how right elbow had surgery but still hit left

Hitting left handed it’s your shoulder where all your strength to lift the ball is used. If he doesn’t have any strength there he’s relegated to just being a slap hitter to get on base paths. Might not be a bad thing actually since he couldn’t do much of anything yesterday.
