They're bats overall have gotten cold though, that's the thing.

Heading into the World Series, the Dodgers scored 70 runs per 9 inning in 11 games. That means they were averaging 6 runs per game.

In the World Series, they've scored 14 runs (per 9 innings) in 4 games so far.

As a Yankees fan, if you would have told me we'd hold the Dodgers to 4 runs per game, I'd tell you I like our chances alot. It's just that the bats in NY haven't done shyt.

If our bats start heating up, this series could start getting very interesting...

It’s typically like 1 or 2 guys carrying an entire lineup with lucky spot hits here and there. The pitching is a lot better, it’s the same guys seeing each other over and over again so they know each other’s tendencies, and the scouting reports are laser focused on hitter weaknesses since you aren’t seeing another team 3 games (in a usual reg season series) from now.

When it was Astros Philly, only ngas hitting were Altuve/Alvarez & Harper/Bohm.

There’s also a waiting period between the CS and WS. The hot bats aren’t gonna stay hot with several days off.
