Everything taste better back then. Now everything is chemical injected or artificial flavored, high fructose corn syrup replaces sugar. Natural flavorings are rare. I buy snacks for my kids, so I take a sample of what they eat - nothing tastes like I remember it. Even Twinkie’s don’t taste like cake anymore. Way too sweet. I get a head ache after one small bite. Not to mention all the sodium they infuse in everything.

Makes sense. U right.

I’m not as old as y’all but I honestly think it’s kids taste buds.

As I got older I appreciate vegetables more and when I try some of the cakes, candies, snacks that shyt be a sugar overload.

All this stuff is trash lol how can a 50 cent cake be any good :mjlol:

My mother would cook everyday for us, so I wasn't eating this stuff often anyway. But it still tasted better. The cheese actually melted like real cheese. Toppings were plentiful.

I don't know if it was the ingredients or my taste buds but Pizza Hut in the 80s was sooooooo good. I remember the thick buttery crust and the gang of cheese. They fell off.

They fell off.

I went to Pizza Hut a couple of years back and the taste reminded me of the 90s. It made me realise that they're inconsistent.

This is what happens when you put your brand in the hands of people you're paying minimum wage. They don't want to put the effort into getting something done right.

Domino's has gotten better over what they were in the 2000s.....Pizza hut was always greasy, at least the pan pizza. I used to prefer the personal pan. But still, the ingredients tasted better in the 90s.

I love me some Dominos...I be eating that ish almost every week when I got the chance.
Dominos back in the day was good. I’ll still get it now and then, but I think it’s good, and people look at me like I’m crazy.
Oh also KFC fell the fukk off too. U dunno what that shyt truly tasted like unless u lived it in the 80s and 90s.

Last time I had KFC was about 5 years ago. It was very greasy, and the biscuit tasted like a ball of slightly baked dough.

Even Taco Bell was decent back in the day. Now, it’s just meat paste.
