Back when Pizza Hut was literally a hut you could eat inside.
I only have one memory of eating in one but I remember the buildings so well
In my city we still have the Pizza Hut Buffet's were you can go into the restaurant sit down and eat.

When I was growing up in the 1980s/early 90s there was a local place in town that had the GOAT pizza. It was called "Caruso's" and I can stil remember it vividly, just unbeatable layers of the best mozzerella and fantastic pepperoni. Barely remember the crust (it was thick crust though) because the toppings were just so elite. Stil have never had pizza my entire life that matched that shyt. They had pacman embedded into every table too.
Rumors around town were always that the place sold coke out the back door, the joke in school was that there was coke in the pizza and that was why it was so good. Then one day they just suddenly closed out of nowhere, it turned out the owners were arrested for tax evasion. I dunno if anyone ever proved the drug charges but it makes you wonder....

Man every fast food tasted good in the 80's. Still had somewhat real ingredients. Not the made up shyt they get out of a lab today.
I totally forgot that you could eat inside Pizza Hut. I remember going as a kid and the shyt would be packed too.

To me it’s about where you get them the Dorito’s from Subway hit different than the ones in the grocery store

Some probably weren't as good as we remember, but it was definitely better than some of the stuff out there today.

Why is it that back then we would eat this shyt like crazy and not even feel it. Now I have pizza not to long after straight to the toilet

Everything taste better back then. Now everything is chemical injected or artificial flavored, high fructose corn syrup replaces sugar. Natural flavorings are rare. I buy snacks for my kids, so I take a sample of what they eat - nothing tastes like I remember it. Even Twinkie’s don’t taste like cake anymore. Way too sweet. I get a head ache after one small bite. Not to mention all the sodium they infuse in everything.
