It was pretty exceptional. The wagon jumping scene was epic, and Amy Poehler was dope.

finally saw this. i really enjoyed it.

the movie kinda dips in the 3rd quarter though. 15-20 min probly coulda been trimmed altogether.

all in all though it was a great experience. and yes amy poehler came through with amazing performance.

It was pretty good, took my daughter to see it. May have been a lil deep for a 4 year old to fully digest. The second half kinda dragged and I thought the ending could have been a lil better. But it was nice...

I thought Wreck it Ralph was better :ld:

You're bugging breh. This movie was fukking genius as fukk. On so many god damn levels. Movie is damn near a Cognitive Psychology 101 class while teaching us about life, love, happiness, family, and loss/letting things go. I could write an entire page about how genius this fukking movie is.

Right, which is why I said the concept and premise were awesome. Just didn't think the execution worked. I didn't enjoy it, and I have a masters degree in psychology. Cool idea tho'

Other than the opening Up is meh
I disagree that's bc up brought back the feeling I had watching all those black and white jungle adventure flick growing up in Haiti and captured that sense of intrigue and mystery perfectly. And the kids relationship with the grandpa in comparison with his dad or lack there off. Up is by far the best Pixar movie in my Opinion.

I took my 5 yr old sister to see this 2 days ago. It was dope but I think the concept flew over my sister's head though. I thought it was great and was more interested than my sister even.

If you're one of those movie people who complain about no fresh ideas in Hollywood or movies lacking heart and depth nowadays you owe it to yourself to see this movie.

:mindblown:

I can't believe they turned this idea into a movie. And a movie this good.

It's not my favorite Pixar movie, and it's probably not even their best, but it's their most impressive imo. Certainly from a screenplay/concept perspective.

I also appreciate that they didn't feel the need to EXPLAIN the conclusion of the film to the audience. The opportunity was staring them right in the face, but they let the last act breathe. I wasn't entirely in love with a couple of minor beats, but overall.....it's really something special.

Also..... :russ:
"Forget it Jake, it's Cloud Town" made me look like an idiot being the only one in the theater laughing :dead:

I didn't get the cloud town joke

Explain
