Known a few good pits in my life but they are way too dangerous to be in the average person’s hands. They have killer instinct and the physiology to back it, once they lock onto something they essentially enter a berserk state and are very hard to stop. We should just let the breed go extinct honestly :yeshrug:

Don’t even see the owners in the video, them dogs probably been terrorizing that neighborhood.
Owners weren’t even home. They left and put their hell hounds that had already escaped multiple times and bitten at least one neighbor outside in the backyard.
The wife comes back while the firefighters are still fighting the beasts for the dying old man (behind the trash bin).

Methany claims that she had them harnessed and tethered but somehow they still escaped :stopitslime:

That’s why I hate a lot of hoods I’m in.. dogs be running loose

It's not even a hood thing either. I remember when I was working at UPS as a delivery helper and there was a block with a bunch of dogs off of the lease just running the streets. One dog sized me up while I was delivering a package on some "fukk around and find out" shyt.

shyt was wild disturbing because folks put all of their love into these fukking animals, that they just allow them to roam the street without any given care.

Nevermind, people who walked to get home or somebody walking their dog. It's that "my dog don't bite" stance that's sickening. You do not know what's in a dogs mind. If the fukker thinking "bite ass", you can't assume it's thinking "playtime".

:picard: they had attacked people 2 other times

So basically these were poorly trained dogs like wmany have said

If you don't have the time to raise one or the resources to take it to obedience training or the time to socialize it, DON'T GET A PIT

Matter of fact, don't get a dog period. A German Shepard, Rottweiler, hell a St. Bernard will rip your face off if it's not properly trained, you just don't hear about it as much in the news because there are much more inexperienced owners getting Pits as their first dog and not knowing WTF they're doing.

I think they saw what happened to the man and thought what if they miss and the dogs attack them. There were apparently three dogs so you'd really have to be on your game to not get caught by one of them.

You need a heater to really feel comfortable attacking the dogs.
Yeah, the dogs hospitalized the man’s wife, a bystander and one of the firefighters called to the scene.
Plus all the neighbors had been terrorized by them for at least two years. They’d already bitten a man and were released back to their owners. And apparently there were many calls to Animal Control about them and obviously nothing was done.

I’m of the firm belief we need to invest our resources into an identification, spay and neutering programs in cities. My city has a really big problem with this, but there are good people out there. About a month ago my ex and I found a box of ten puppies…somebody seriously just fukking threw them out on the sidewalk in the dead of night. Thankfully we work with foster groups in the area and were able to relocate them, but unfortunately two didn’t make it.

Right now we are getting ready to send off our foster. We’ve had her about a year and she’s been through so much, from a pregnancy that almost killed her due to a parasitic infection, to so many failed attempts at finding her a home. Sweetest fukking fog and she was wandering the streets pregnant in the Texas summer with a collar on but suspiciously no owner.

The owner deserves whatever comes to him 100%.
My gf and I foster puppies and it’s fukking wild how shytty some people are. Literally will try to breed dogs knowing they can’t take care of them. One of the people in our rescue group knew their neighbor had a litter of puppies born but didn’t see the mom or the puppies after a while. Turns out these redneck pieces of shyt took the puppies and the mom out to a forest area, shot the mother, and left the puppies out there. Probably like 4-5 weeks old. They found a couple of the puppies running out of the forest onto a road and back in. When they followed them they found most of the puppies surprisingly still alive, hanging out around their mom’s corpse.

Spaying and neutering is so important man. We aren’t allowed to adopt out until the pups are fixed.

The stray dog problem here is so bad. And they’re almost always pits/pit mixes or chihuahuas.

I'm sorry but I would be chasing them cute things down like a dog with rabies :noah:
