Pitchfork only really started getting into hip-hop heavily in the past 6-7 years. Before that they were mainly a indie/hipster rock site. Its actually kinda weird to me how much they shifted, they are way more into mainstream stuff than they ever have been. Maybe its because rock is more these days than ever (even the indie side). But yeah, I've never been under the impression that the site was anything but full of white people.

Did you look at every writer's picture to see if they were black or just by their name?

Only asking because I write for a couple of sites and if you people saw my name they'd probably assume I wasn't black either. Basically I'm asking is it possible that they have more or is it simply cacland.
