The first two are incredibly fun, entertaining movies with tons of replay value. The next 2 are nowhere near as good but still solid pirate flicks, not as bad as some make out to be. Haven't seen the new one.

My advice is to check out the first (better on big screen in HD), if you don't like then then you won't like the rest, if you enjoy check the next 2 out at least

Saw it this weekend, was very good.
I was one of the few that liked the 4th and hated the 3rd movie with a passion.
I liked this a lot, probably my favorite movie.
