Dude is full of shyt for that one because back in the day more players wore it and if I recall maybe its just hindsight baseball also had more american born black players and black players in general...or maybe its just my memory because I'll admit I dont watch it or follow it anymore.

Eric Davis was for sure,i dont think remember Larkin shining but plenty of brehs had them ropes out...i remember Joe Carter here in Toronto had a big ass chain you could see a mile away...Barry Bonds i remember had chains...back when baseball had personality.

To even float the idea they were throwing at him cuz he had jewlery on :hhh:

One thing had absolutely nothing to do with the other :russ:.
I'm saying...damn near everyone with an ounce of swag has been wearing their jewels since I was a kid :patrice:

As someone mentioned before, I was actually always fascinated by the fact that baseball was one of the only sports where dudes openly rocked their shines with zero fukks given about the chain getting popped or something.

Basketball is too active and football your shyt might get smashed

But hitting a HR with your cuban piece on? That shyt is HAPPENING

It really bothers you that a grown man wore a chain?

You're supposed to talk baseball, you a$$hole.
Maybe it should bother you that the pitcher put a guy on base.

Maybe it should bother you that the pitch could have injured the batter when it hit him.

I love baseball but a significant part of it just needs to die off. And I dont mean people...I mean...certain kinds of thinking. It is just so tiresome and disgusting.
