Slavery did not end in the late 1800 it ended 5 days after pearl harbor 1942
Oriental is a racist word you fukking cac l. See you all fukking inherently racist. Didn't you used to call Asians mongoloids? fukk you and fukk your evil demonic pathetic terrorist race.yeah I really can't. I am not of the camp that pretends this shyt didn't/doesn't exist, because it definitely does. People think because I am white they can casually drop their racist bullshyt on me when I'm around
I got no time for that, I tell them I don't appreciate it and move on. If a person I respected once before posts racist, tea-party shyt on FB I unfriend them immediately.
I went to a mixed elementary school in Chicago, we might have had racist parents or problems outside of school but we all got along and were pretty much colorblind ... except as we all got older some of the white kids got more racist and would crack jokes in their groups
I wonder we they got that from, because it definitely wasn't developed at school
I'm older now and have a pretty diverse group of friends, idk why I posted this because I usually stay out of these discussions on here. I'm not really politically active, either, so I can't say I fight hard for race issues. I just treat people as individuals and evaluate them based on their actions. I give everyone a fair shake and try to use as neutral language as possible. This applies for all races and cultures, I don't make fun of orientals by cracking cheap asian stereotype jokes that I see a lot. It's easy conversation for whites to make fun of other races, I see it all the time.
Orientals?
How old are you? That's like calling black folks negros or colored. Just call them Asian.
Care to explain ?I'm starting to believe some of you take glee in seeing shyt like this
It's not even about "needing a reminder of what cacs did" because if you're truly black you wouldn't need a reminder, it's embedded. This isn't something you forget so a lot of this shyt is really starting to make me

Nah, breh, that's just one way to see it. There's a difference between learning over the years that Slavery was real and that many horrific things happened to our ancestors, but it's a different level being able to see actual images of the kinds of things they did. It's like someone describing an horrific event they witnessed to you and you're like that sounds bad, but then when you see a video of it you're like . For example, I'm willing to bet a lot of Black people aren't aware that "Independence Day game." I honestly feel like images like these are something all Black people should see so that they're aware of the level of direct hatred Blacks had to deal with.I'm starting to believe some of you take glee in seeing shyt like this

That post was in context of ancestors only and yes our ancestors had to face far more severe conditions than we did today. E.g if some White man poured acid into a pool with Black people in it, it wouldn't go unignored. That's not to say Black people today don't face a different kind of hatred.

We could argue about semantics and specifics all day, but I won't as that serves no real purpose. There are many things that happened to our ancestors that are not happening today. Conversely, there are many things happening today that did not happen to our ancestors. There are similarities as well. And things looking similarly to Jim Crows does not make it the same since the actual Jim Crow era involved more of a de jure aspect.Word :word:?
Cause in 2015 it's looking pretty similar to Jim Crow
