The sad part in this is although im not his biggest fan, I cant even blame Will McClay and the scouting department

The two bozos at the top have no idea how to roster build and they are relying too much on the coaches input instead of listening to the scouts. Jerry has NO idea what a cover-3 scheme is nor what type of traits, players need to excel in it

We are screwed

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
What you guys not seeing is how did they get there in the first place.

Demarcus Lawrence
Ezekiel Elliott
Amari Cooper

those three contracts in addition to Jaylon Smiths basically hamstrung Dallas in free agency.

And let’s not forget Scott Linehan’s horrible offense that forced Jones hand in trading their 2019 first round pick to get Cooper. Had they kept it, DK Metcalf was available.

And they obviously don’t know how to trade back. Their logic was to take a pick from Philly, but it’s dumb because you helped them get an offensive weapon you’re gonna have to face twice a year.

As for this draft, they lost last year.

they lost because they won too many games
they lost because they had little to no trade assets to collect any meaningful picks.

a team like Denver has no franchise quarterback. If Dallas was in that position, they would’ve have drafted Fields. Denver knows they won’t compete for a title. So they draft the best corner available.

All I know is Parsons better put up Von Miller type stats to justify picking him. :mjpls:

Yo I thought nashon Wright looked familiar. His brother was on last chance U at Laney college. He played there too before transferring to Oregon state and appeared on an episode.

Yall up here crying over shyt that hasn't even transpired yet. it looks ridiculous but you don't know how any of these dudes are going to pan out. How the hell you "lose" a draft when the players haven't even performed yet? Unless you own a copy of every teams' draft board you can't make a proper evaluation till these dudes take the field. I'm just trying to be optimistic with the new coaching regime

Today sucked for two reasons...

1. Not getting a safety
2. Not moving up to get a superior DL prospect

We have 11 picks in this draft. The most of any team. WHY???? :why:

This team has proven they don't value the safety position at all, I don't know why you guys keep bringing it up :pachaha:

Considering how shytty our draft is we’ll definitely go into the season as underdogs a la 2014 and 2016.

so maybe we’ll have a 12-4/13-3 season since that seems to be the trend :yeshrug:

The sad ish is that Dan Quinn basically did this last year when he drafted AJ Terrell (who allowed 71 catches on 102 targets) and let CeeDee Lamb fall right into our laps. 4 of their 6 picks were defense last year and they were one of the worst defenses in the league.

Not happy about this so far. 3 Safeties and 2 DTs went in the picks before us, no reason why we couldn't trade a few slots up and get one. Instead we're drafting 6th rounders with our extra third round picks smfh.
