They were years apart in release date, yeah, but a fair amount of Charity was recorded right after.Charity dropped in 2011 but half if not most of it was recorded in the late 00's.
I had it backwards my bad.
Leave It was during the divorce and Charity was after.

Album is all straight bars, last few tracks got a lil singing but he keeps it light. Off one listen, this definitely feels like a stronger and more cohesive project than his 1st solo. Production is phenomenal throughout.
Lyrically, this is as strong as anything he's put out. Wordplay on another level
Sadly no Pooh and 9th track, but he does shout out both of em towards the end.
Short album at 33 minutes, but there's no filler, no bullshyt, potent content only
And of course he's spitting that real ish that only brehs can feel
"Black man if you get a teaspoon of compassion, that's more than double the serving size"
