Giving a nikka a max contact don't mean he needs to be involved with every in and out of the front office. Lol at that being the barometer for an NBA player... Max contracts. Every nikka that got a max this year should be involved with the front office now?
i never said anything like that
but you are trying to build something together, why not?

you consider derrick william, okyle and robin lopez assets:francis:

and are we crowning new eras based off 2 summer league games :francis:

No I dont, I didnt like the Lopez signing tbh- we overpaid. Affalo stinks. I like Oquinn. The Knicks need picks and expiring contracts...you hope a potential Melo trade can get that back in return.

so i can assume you are of the ppl that wanted melo gone from last season?
this guys the best player weve had since patrick ewing and got us to the second for the first in ten years:snoop:
hes far from perfect but he has proven he can do well when he has the right mixture of players around him
why not build around that:snoop:
it confuses the hell out of me as to why so many knick fans are so quick to dismiss him like hes a scrub
i still remember when fans wanted him out and wanted to build aroun jeremy lin:why:
hes never played with another allstar in his prime, dont ppl think that may have something to do win him not having a ring:snoop:

the lack of support just confuses me

i'm in no rush to go back to the days where toney douglas and wilson chandler are our best players:merchant:

All of my Melo stuff is summed up here ... it wont change anyones mind because Melo fans look at basketball in such an archaic way, but Id suggest read it regardless. There's no value in being able to create your own shot when the shot itself isnt a good one.

regardless of what you think of melos style, that style led us to 54 wins and the second round of the playoffs with JR smith as second option and with everyone hurt:francis:
so why would you not want to build on that formula instead:francis:

why would you to prefer to scrap everything and build around unproven players and expiring contracts:francis:

how bout we do our best to maxmize our franchise player's talents while hes here and in his prime and do that expiring contract build assets stuff later on:francis:

how has that formula worked for philly btw

That team also had the defensive player of the year and Jason Kidd.

Whether he is kept up to date on any moves is irrelevant. I could care less if he is against the signings we made... Let the GM do his job without all the trivialities of wondering whether his star player will approve. That kind of concession should be saved for players who instantly make decent teams into titled contenders

At this point I don't care about rumors and neither should the rest of the fan base.

Phil has been right so far so if he trades Melo fine. If he keeps Melo fine. The knicks been so dysfunctional for so long I got use to second guessing them and being right, but the new regime is competent. So I'm not going to jump at every rumor of the sky falling.

We ain't the Kings brehs.
