If he wants a little more, I bet the Knicks could clear out an extra 2-3 M in cap space.

Or the should look at the Players available via Trade

Lopez is a solid center, he's not going to win you games or anything with his performances, but he'll give you 11/7 with decent defense.

We got the 7 mil and the cap room exception of about 3, plus bird rights for shved, Barg, and Jason smith who suck as it might I could see them bringing back

FA's who can be contributors off the bench who might except that 7 in one form or the other Belinelli, Gerald Green, KJ Mcdaniels, Hansbrough, Biyombo, Brewer.

Alex Kennedy said earlier today that we were pushing hard for Bev but I've only been really trusting Woj, Stein and Begley

We still have vet mins, room exception, and if i'm not mistaken, quite a few trade exceptions to use to acquire bench depth

I hadnt heard anything else regarding KJ McDaniels, wonder if he is still available. We can resign Lance Thomas.

I really like Moe Harkless, 22 yrs old, hometown kid, good wingspan, seemed to had been playing well in ORL and then they just reduced his mins. I think he is a RFA. It didnt seem like ORL would match any offers for him earlier this year

Since Orlando were unsuccessful in signing Milsap, do they now match any offer for Tobias Harris? Even with his issues with skiles...

From my understanding, the cap may increase by $2 million making it $69.1 million instead of $67.1 million. That may leave us with $9 to $10 million instead of $7 million. If we stretch Calderon, could we offer Tobias $14 million per or will the magic match it?


Or look at a guy like Jordan Hill?

I agree. I think he has made some smart moves acquiring solid players and spending cautiously but how he fills out the rest of the squad will be the real test IMO. I wish Tobias Harris was somehow possible but oh well
