Those were the easiest 14 games any team in The NBA will have this year and The Knicks ended up being 4-10. I can't believe how delusional some of your are. The writing is on the wall. Melo, Phil, and Fisher know this year is a lost year. All they're doing is beginning to foster a winning culture at MSG. It's a long arduous process that can be derailed at anytime by our impetuous, diminutive fukk face of an owner.
We all agreed this was a stepping stone year for the team, basically a trial run to see who's-who...if the Knicks keep on the path their going then a lottery pick will come, but intentionally tanking is the EXTREME, and you're basically coming to the conclusion they should go that route after 14 games, like as if it's no chance of the team getting better as they become more familiar with each other
Knicks are in a win-win situation, if the team continues to be garbage they have a lottery pick to work with, if they turn things around then the whole "Phil is working his magic" will come and that attracts FA....and they still will have a 1st rd pick along with cap space coming off a good season
Teams with most of their roster and same system from the prior season always get off with the best start. We not going to know what teams are the real deal till probably mid January
