yep, its time to start letting some of these young guys get some burn. If you going to get blown out by 20 with regular starters might as well let Cleanthony play

:snoop: you again

forced how?
we down 20 and he smiling
hes taking jr smith like contested jumpers
he aint schooling any of the players or showing any passion
its frustrating
doesnt seem like he gives a fukk anymore

I guess he never cared then, because he always smiles. Is smiling the absolute best you could do to claim he's not leading? :scust:4 boards and 1 steal for a guy who doesn't care? So, you wanted him to pass more, instead of take those shots? 4 assists isn't enough for a player that doesn't dominate the ball? What's a "J.R.-Smith-like" shot? A step-back jumper where Swish shoots 66% on? A 3, where Swish shot over 39% on last season? Or shots like these:

Carmelo Anthony Specialty Moves

Within these general categories are a few go-to moves upon which Anthony sometimes relies - the most common of which is the right shoulder fade-away:

This past season, he made 37 of 65 such shots (56.9%). Yes, the shot appears terrible. But Anthony is an unbelievable player, so it's no surprise that one of the most difficult shots in the game actually produces quality results for him.

His other specialty moves are even more effective, though in much smaller samples.

Here's the quick spin baseline from the post:

(11-17, 64.7%)

One dribble baseline, quick spin middle:

(7-11, 63.6%)

Hesitation dribble + pull-up head fake, then drive. He often uses this move against slower big men.

(12-18, 66.7%)

'Melo is trying too hard to accommodate the passing aspect of the offense instead of looking for his shot. Trying to do the right thing isn't leading? :scust:This is the 2nd time in a row that he's attempted less than 8 shots in a half. The same applies to Swish. The offense is designed to create iso situations for the top scorer. They need to fall back on all that facilitator stuff; that should improve with time.
