a black person can be the "face" of a franchise as they are typically purchased and run under some form of incorporation whether that be a LLC or S-corp, etc. Again, you are taking things at face value when I'm telling you it's not that simple
I just believe it is a bad faith assumption. There is no reason to apply that "sometimes" situation to cast doubt or denigrate this

Not quite your scenario of Black people sitting around powerless, waiting on the whims of white people.
I'm not suggesting this. I don't fault black people working with white investors at all. In fact one of the white men involved with the project near me is actually a mentor of mine :dead: . My only issue is with the marketing or if there are scenarios where a black person was recruited as a means to gain access and i acknowledge there are degrees with that even.

Great shyt......This is real Black excellence......Not that fake Black Excellence where people are making money at the expense of the culture.

This man and his family need to be protected from thieves and extortors.

I am. There was a Murrrays on Girard ave. Now it’s a Dollar Tree.

Every once in a while we used to buy 5 finger discount meat off random trucks. Pause.
There was a supermarket across from Murrays for decades. It's now a makeshift parking lot, but it was a Shop N Bag until that franchise went under. Murray's was there until at least '06-'07.

The supermarket was before my time. I think it was closed or closing by ‘01. I could be wrong.

Crazy that they didn’t just put another one there.
