Philly is cool. Cost of living though is $1000 for an apartment is not good. In the south you can get a nice apartment for like 500-600 easily. I hate the narrow streets in Philly and traffic sucks sometimes. Oh yeah, and parking is TERRIBLE. Other than that yeah, its a really diverse and cool place to live

Philly is cool for what it is.

as far as cost of living in a major urban environment, i wouldn't choose anywhere else.

But as far as quality of life goes... much rather be in san fran or atl.

Everything is about trade offs. My first college was 20 minutes outside of Memphis. I could get an apartment for $450 there. No bullshyt. This was 2009. It was that cheap in Tennessee. But its fukking Tennessee. Philly is cheap for what you get.

You know, just cuz of these pictures you're tempting me to visit Philly at some point, and I don't even stan East Coast Cities like that.

Like Chicago, always felt it got a bad rep from naysayers and what have you.

Wasn't aware is was a majority African-American city. Learning something new every day.

Wanna live in center city, go for it.

It definitely gets a bad rap. Its no NYC or DC in terms of nightlife,etc but i still love it and there is fun to be had.
