It has a serious case for the weakest supporting cast ever on a title squad, but he didn't get credit for it cause "names".


His #2 was a 20yo Tony Parker averaging 14.7ppg and 3.5apg on 40% shooting with no threes and no defense.

His #3 was Stephen Jackson averaging 12.8ppg on 41% shooting.

Manu was just a rookie averaging 9ppg on 39% shooting.

David Robinson was 37yo and beyond washed, averaged 7ppg and retired after the season.



It wasn't just Duncan averaging 25-15-5 and 3.3 blocks/game on 53% shooting, it was that EVERYTHING relied on him. He was the scorer. He was the distributor. He was the defense. He was the go-to guy in crunch time. He carried the fukk out of that team on some Hakeem shyt.

The bulls roster were all busters who played up.

Only players of note who never ramped were:

Cook
Hodges
Paxson
Grant = acc poy [so he had no excuse like scottie uses and acts like he was killing since day one.]


Past every bull player not named Michael Jeffrey Jordan off top. Was generally at best only a second round rampup player. That mj had to thrust out of being a deer in headlights. Plus adjust to obscene physicality and assault level violence on court. I give them props for ramping
