Not surprisingly, this thread seems to be filled with Sony stans high fiving each other, which seems to be the norm for any thread with the word Xbox in the title. I'm not totally sure what it is you guys are celebrating, but have a blast.

I have no idea why Microsoft is raising the price, but this news definitely won't have any effect on anyone who isn't an absolute brokie.

Profits are up. However while the Xbox division had an increase in revenue, it's unclear how much money they actually made. I'm sure somebody will make a thread about it.

Microsoft has been pretty open about gamepass not being profitable so it would make sense for them to adjust their business model if they plan on making their investments worthwhile. They are gonna have to make some changes especially if they plan on releasing Bethesda games for free with gamepass.

Microsoft isn't just gonna drop 7 billy for games to add to a subscription service that isn't profitable. Personally I don't think the $120 was a bad deal, the current price is far too low.

Anyone who enjoys the service should be willing to pay a bit more if it allows Microsoft to keep funding high quality games to add to the service for free.

Like I said if you buy more than 1 Microsoft game a year and have Gold you have to spend more to not have Gamepass Unlimited than to have it.

120$ a year for EA, Gamepass and 6 free games a month is still a better deal than anything
not even mentioning CDkeys selling memberships for the low
even if nothing is changing gamepass and all that free shyt is still a huge savings

been trying to get people on my wave. play xbox with the free shyt
by the time you beat a few games, all that PS shyt is on sale and you stocked up mad free PS plus games
save the main purchases for nintendo because they rarely have sales ... now you just pay 20-30$ for PS games
free xbox shyt ... you're only paying a 40% off membership from cdkey
and you got money in between to do whatever
