shyt the only thing I play is on gamepass if they combine them it would be value...If not this xbox will just collect dust.

that's what I have....It just struck me as odd. Seems fairly expensive for what I remember Live being. But gamepass is worthwhile.
ya gamepass by itself is $10/mo. ($120/yr.)...ultimate is $15/mo. ($180/yr.)...so it’s the cost of game pass + the old price of xbox live gold

Starfield, Wolfenstein 3, maybe Halo if it has a better showing, Scorn, Pscyhonauts 2, The Gunk, all interest me
The Medium could too if it reviews well with critics and fans
Combine that with a couple of other unannounced 2021 titles, the XSX might be next to my PS5 by the end of this year
I'll get to play multiplats that run better on the XSX, cyberpunk, and try out old titles I missed out on on gamepass

If you’re microsoft your only course of action is to push more people into gamepass, they are doubling the price because they don’t want people to use regular xbox live gold service. I’m surprised they didn’t triple it but it’d probably be even more obvious and worse PR.
Once they have enough people in the Gamepass eco system they will pump it to 20 and no one will complain because people will still say the value you get for 240 dollars a year is worth it.

This has to be a mandate from a few greedy shareholders. Or Microsoft is trying to pay for the Zenimax acqusition. Maybe they are planning to buy more studios.
