If something happens because I'm black...it will happen whether I'm thiking about being black or not. I can't take my skin off.

I don't mean "let me _____ like I'm black" but rather "let me NOT do _____ because I'm black"
for example, here in Texas I avoid certain areas when it gets too late at night because the police will harass me for being there after a certain time because I'm Black.
