You lose self-responsibility. It's much easier and convenient to lay the responsibility at the feet of a "God", instead of living up to the expectation of BECOMING GOD/CHRIST. Not worshipping Christ, but becoming Christ!

In addition, you can't control people who know they have the ability to become a Christ. If you're a government you must insert yourself as a middle man. In other words, "The power is not within you, the power is outside of you. On top of that according to the bible WHO has God left in charge of the world?"

All the religions including Voodoo has been infiltrated and had a middle man/deity inserted.
That's not part of the story. You will repent and pray that when it's your turn before your final judge that your totals of faith and deeds add up on your favor.

God gonna be asking you,

So is this God or Christ before me :unimpressed:

and thecoli won't be there to give you daps and mjlol's:dame:

Religion plays into one of the main reasons why I don't deal with most of my family members. Another thing is, I can't see how a so called God can sit back and let the world go straight to hell. Let alone that same God sits back and allow one group of people be constantly oppressed by multiple groups of people. Got black folks out here talking about forgiving the opposition and being equals with them, I just can't do that. My ancestors didn't die for me to be equals with "them". My ancestors didn't die for me to "turn the other cheek" to the bullshyt.

OK
Watched this the other day, his path towards doubt is eerily similar to my own. Though it didn’t take seminary to wake me up, it was an undergrad class called “The Bible in the 21st Century” that completely shook my world view.

Despite no longer believing in Christianity, I still listen to The Cross Movement from time to time.

“It’ll be sweet like raisins, kissed by the sun’s rays
While we praise the raised Son, all because the Son raised”. :wow:

Salute the man Phanatik:salute:

Yeah moving away from religion has done wonders for us as a people. Nothing but whores and homos influencing our culture now.

Our greatest leaders came out of organized religion. You haven’t seen one since.

He became part of the world. That's to bad. Hopefully he gets back in the word and comes back to sense because there isn't anything waiting for him outside the faith but pain without redemption.

Sounds like he didn't even want to say it. Should have kept it to himself.

God gave him talent which he used for success.
He gets a nice yard and then says he don't need the faith anymore.

Our existence sounds like a fairy tale.

Tiny organisms living on a rock floating around a fireball in the middle of nothing.

I guess that's as weird as it gets?

You best believe because one day you'll be on your knees.

:blessed:

One less black person worshiping the slave masters god
I don’t really believe it’s the slave masters religion anymore… well it wasn’t initially. Kinda like how those Greek Gods were basically copies of the Yoruba Orishas

People not taking responsibility for their actions. Both negatively & positively… but mostly the former they blame on a devil. This can impede ones personal development.
There's no scripture about absolving oneself of accountability in favor of blaming the devil

That's for y'all Spiritual nikkas who don't actually read scripture. Scripture is All about accountability.

It is common for believers and atheists to make up their own rules after they fall out of the word.
