Well when the Japanese artist who created her drew her to look like a white broad and then the property was bought by an American movie company, and the Johannson starred in a profitable action movie last year; well it makes perfect sense to me.
It is more intellectually dishonest to think that there was ever a shot of an Asian actress ever being cast as the lead in a major blockbuster action movie.

That's what i'm saying.... I remember the outrage that the japanese fanboys had when they said they was gonna cast akira with all white actors....

Why not Let a japanese actress rock this movie. I dont care about scarlett johanson and her box office draw overseas. how is it when time comes they dont want to see someone else new get some shine... It's always the usual fukking suspects...
