Halo didn't even have a team slayer/TDM mode playlist at launch, and it released as a "beta" to compensate for the bugs and issues.

This is a lie. Slayer was in from jump, and it did not have a bunch of bugs or connection issues
The game was free, had more content than helldivers, and was technically a lot more polished.

Slayer was in from jump, there was just no specific playlist. And people were so “outraged” that the FREE BETA didn’t have the specific playlist they wanted, that they ragged enough for the devs to have to make a statement and pause comments.
