If he knew there would be hate why did he take the job? Think about it.
think about what, exactly?

And people like the OP alternate between being extreme debt hawks and advocating massive Keynesian spending while simultaneously wanting strict regulations on industries and protectionism. And wanting to stop QE and possibly end the Federal Reserve.
Be an economic schizo, brehs.
peter schiff is a glorified alex jones, spouting conspiracy theories that have no basis in fact. if you want to know how lacking in credibility schiff is, look at what he said in 2008. he said the country will see mass riots across the nation. cities would burn. banks would be run on. he then adjusted and said it'd occur in 2009. nothing the guy said ever happened. he's just another racist cac that certain cacs and c00n fakkits on the-coli give thumbs up to.

How is this guy an investment manager that doesn't understand the concept of debt financing and it's relationship with the bond markets? You can be an extreme deficit hawk but the only person on earth who is managing money and talking about a US DEFAULT and gold as a reserve is Peter Schiff. Not even right winger economists are saying this, it's just the league of Austrian quasi-racist ideology driven dudes like Ron Paul etc that say whatever they want without any academic consideration.
Schiff "Predicted" the financial crisis but so did Krugman, and Krugman told you where it was coming rather than just Schiff's general doomsday predictions.
There's was a presidential candidate that talked about ending the Fed, dismantling the military industrial complex by ending all foreign wars, and developing real energy independence here in America in 2008 and 2012....All of the anger should, instead, be redirected at the bankers, military industrial complex, oil barons, etc.
He might be a bit cuckoo, but he more of less predicted the housing bubble and the aftermath (inflation, long term unemployment).Peter Schiff is a joke though ... this is not a legitimate criticism at all
Polk was the GOAT president in my opinion. He did everything he set out to do in 1 term. After his 1st term, he realized that he had accomplished all his goals (claimed the Pacific states and territories for America, cut taxes, and set up an independent banking system), and decided not to run for office again.Slightly off topic, but Ike might be the GOAT prez
Schiff said the same thing Krugman said. It wasn't a "general" statement, it was specific: housing prices peak in 2007 then come crashing down the next year and remain low for a few years until the free market corrects itself.Schiff "Predicted" the financial crisis but so did Krugman, and Krugman told you where it was coming rather than just Schiff's general doomsday predictions.
Obama knew there was huge opposition to his running for president and yet continued to do so. He also knew the right wingers refused to work with him unless it dealt with war and he continue to do so. He signed up for the job, now has to take responsibility for it. He knew what exactly he was getting into, his followers don't on the other hand.

Yup. Not only was he wrong about hyperinflation and the bond market collapsing, but he predicted an economic collapse was right around the corner, like within a year, and told people to pull their money out of the stock market and hoard gold every year from about 2002 on.Oh you mean from 1913 till 2008... not the hyperinflation that Peter Schiff predicted... way to move the goal posts jackass.
