Because (and no disrespect to Dead) Libertarians are great at asking questions and terrible at providing answers.
There's no arguing that some people should earn more than others. The problem comes with the influence that is provided by the inequality. If it just meant that CEO had a nicer car, cool, whatever. If income disparities result in political influence, gaming the justice system, and having unequal education opportunities for rich and poor kids, that's the problem.
And I've never heard 'externalities' addressed by libertarians even though they are a very important economic concept.

But to the point, shouldnt the value of labor be decided by the two parties directly involved, not a third far removed from the situation? If citizen A voluntarily agrees to perform a specified task for citizen B at a specified rate. Where exactly has the evil/injustice occurred?
Oh we have lots of answers, they just aren't tenable.
