I haven't heard this name in 20 years.

But yea, I immediately associate it with bullshyt ass claims and bullshyt ass games like Fable. That whole era of gaming was filled with overhyped pseudo-celebrity game designers trying to make a name for themselves. Molyneux, Reggie Fils-Aime, The other nikka from ID games (not John Carmack), even Kojima-san was on that bullshyt from time to time.

Not to mention the overhyped game engines. Remember the Kill Zone shyt? Ushered in the whole nonsense of studios passing cinematic trailers off as gameplay footage. Also ushered in the lack of differentiation between PC games and console games.



I'm forgetting a few.

I feel like Killzone 2 looked better than the trailer aside from the fake animations.

That trailer looks washed out and dusty compared to the actual game.
