I’ve only listened to it once & I’m pretty sure Pete Rock studied “BE” for this album because it’s seems like a perfect sequel to it but with Pete Rocks own flava.

Great album & it’s easily going to be up there at the end of the year as 1 of the best albums of 2024.

With the album being called Vol.1 & seeing the chemistry between the 2 on tracks, interviews & podcasts etc I wouldn’t be surprised if they begun recording Vol.2.

This album literally gives me the same feeling I had the first time I listened to Be.

This is BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. There’s no other way to describe it. This is one of those albums where if Aliens invaded earth, put a raygun to your head and demanded to know what Hip Hop is you’d simply press play and let them vibe to it.
