Punk had that lengthy actually meaningful title run, and the WWE has spent like 6 years having multiple people try to erase that history. I mean, a undefeated reign got to have some sort of rhyme and reason. What made Okada's reign simplywas the fact that he was fighting for his life. Dude fought each match involving the belt with different ideals for the opponent:

• Omega= His equal
• Naito=Adapting to his sleazy dirty tricks
• Suzuki= fukkery
• Shibata= Fighting for his life

It worked, rather than make him seem larger than reality. This is the thing that pisses me off about the WWE. They big up the head of a wrestler with that dumb undefeated streak without a sense of storytelling (Asuka, Dunne, etc), but once they come to the main roster, it's just welp!

Make the wrestler's human if you are trying to go for that undefeated approach. I'm not going to believe a small little smug puke like Dunne can beat somebody like Brock, unless you give me matches to back up the claim

They handicapped themselves when NXT UK was created because now the title almost needs to be on the show. Raw is starving for top guys so they won't move Balor unless another star is coming back their way.
