real talk, anyone still running the "wii-u isn't even up to current gen standards" line is clearly a fanboy who has an aversion to reality. with all the information we now have it is pretty clear the wii-u is better and more capable than current gen, and over time the developers will learn to utilize it.
however, having said that, i think sony and MS have the advantage because they aint really under pressure like nintendo is so they can take some time to see what works and what doesn't work for wii-u and build on that. i was suprised there was no next gen announcement at E3. by the looks of it, it will probably be 2014 when they come out, so that does give nintendo a good 2 years to have the best system out, but of course when the next gen xbox and ps come they will expectedly be better systems. how much better i dont know, 2 years can mean alot of improvements in capabilities but it can also mean very little improvement in capabilities. we will see. im expecting something dope, but from what MS has been giving us it looks like alot of their focus is shifting towards casual gamers which is worrysome.
and anyone saying the first party titles are a weak point for nintendo is a fukking idiot. the first party titles are their bread and butter
