Persona 3 came out in 2006 and Persona 4 came out in 2008 It took 8 years for the next mainline game. This isn't even getting to Project Re Fantasy that was announced in 2016 and was "reaching it's climax" in 2020. There's 2.6 months left in 2022 and crickets. Persona 5 sold over 5 million copies. They can't be hurting for cash. What the hell is going on with Atlus.

They just spend a year counting announcements of bullshyt only for the final announcement to be release dates of Persona 3 and 4 ports. I mean they couldn't even do a teaser of either of these projects. Is Project Re Fantasy still even in development? Who can say? The climax phase has lasted half as long as the preclimax phase

I mean even as slow as Square Enix is they put out Final Fantasy XV in 2016 and in 2023 there will be XVI which was announced in 2020. The only real other thing I'd maybe compare to this was GTA 6 but RDR 2 came out between them and GTA 5 is an online cash cow.
