I honestly think you guys don't understand business. People are leaving jobs ALL OVER AMERICA because you can get more money leaving your job than staying there.
Every single high profile AAA game has lots of turnover. Hell, he left a high profile game at the time to join the initiative. Furthermore they already announced Crystal Dynamics would be working on the game, which is the studio dude left in order to work with the initiative.

This “news” means nothing without context. Furthermore context from the “insider” that leaked this info says this.

Dan Neuburger, Game Director on Perfect Dark, has moved on from The Initiative. He was there for a good 3 years and 8 months. I think I slowly start to get the idea behind The Initiative. It looks like it's basically a studio that kicks off a project and carries it through concept, prototype and full pre-production phases, then carrying it over to full-production with assistance of another studio that has the needed manpower, in this case Crystal Dynamics. That also explains the "staying small & agile" comment and also ... The studio's name. While I realise some people will doom & gloom over it again, It could potentially also mean the game is further ahead than people think. 2023 could be on the table I think.

Dudes job was already done. Happens with most games.

But as usual we will have a bunch of Sony stans with Hot takes and nonsense. Just noise.

Judge the game whenever it comes out :manny:

:ohhh:explain, I've been at the same company almost seven years now. This the first year I'm getting jerked out my raise though so I'm kind of open to exploring options.

Are you talking about specific fields or everybody can just go out there and find a better paying position than at the company you've built tenure with like wtf

Everyone.

Unless your job has been aggressively raising your pay, play the field a bit. I’m sure you can get a significant raise with 7 years of experience, or at the very least force your job to commit to paying you more.
