I hate to say it, but they're probably gonna speed it up and turn it into some CoD bullshyt like they ended up doing with Halo. :francis:

I still got the remaster of the original. :whew:

PDZ got terrible reviews, but I was 14 when it dropped and never even heard of the original Perfect Darks. I got this and Call Of Duty 2 along with my 360 Christmas 2005, shyt was :banderas: wish they tracked how many hours were played, I probably had months worth lmao. So many clan matches played on gamebattles (now MLG). Definitely looking forward to this

Nintendo never owned Rare, they had the same setup as Housemarque (bluepoint, Quantic Dream, etc) and Sony, acting as a second party studio. Which is why nintendo still own so much of its IP

Rare was a 2nd party studio at the time with the Stamper Brothers owning the rest of Rare. Nintendo had to divest themselves of Rare so that Microsoft could purchase Rare. Microsoft owns all of the IP with the exception of Diddy Kong Racing. If they own all of the other characters in the game outside of Diddy Kong, I honestly don't know.

Microsoft Buys Rare - IGN

IGN has confirmation that Microsoft will now own all of the intellectual properties previously owned by Rare including Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, Conker, Killer Instinct, Blast Corps and Sabre Wulf.

Other games like Battletoads and RC Pro Am is owned by Microsoft as well. That's why they were on the Rare Replay release.

Nintendo confirms Rare sale

Nintendo has officially confirmed that it has sold its 49 per cent stake in UK developer Rare, ending an exclusive relationship which has lasted through several console revisions and handing over with it the rights to such franchises as Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie.

This will be nothing like Call of Duty breh. It will likely be a far better Mirror's Edge.

This needs to be great because Splinter Cell has been butchered and Metal Gear is in purgatory with no end in sight.

Hitman is the only true stealth action game still worth a damn!

Crazy you think these studios aren't involving tons of other studios.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a studio refer to outsourcing as a co-development partnership

Sounds more like the initiative is gonna be the support studio for crystal dynamics considering their size

Sounds like it'll be majority of not only these two companies, usually it's not announced topic and especially ahead of time and with triple A games.

This is something that happens with almost every big double and triple A game though

In this case I think CD is going to be out sourced but also co developing like they said. They have the man power and experience, instead of involving a ton of outsourced teams which sets them up for leaks they can lean on CD and maybe a handful of others instead
