Batman is basically an antihero as well just a better one but Batman has killed as well especially in the film world but he's more into working with the law and justice system as well but that was overtime.Batman does certain things in context but he doesn't believe in killing even to a more extreme level than almost all other anti heroes or super heroes.
And Punisher isn't a Super Hero or even an anti hero. He's a straight up villain who fukks up other villains and fukks with certain folk that make him appear clean (Nick Fury, Avengers, ect).
It did make him public enemy number 1... Kinda how that story went in BvS and in MOS where he was FORCED to kill because of Zod and didn't intentionally destroy the city
And didn't he kill in the old movies too
Batman is basically an antihero as well just a better one but Batman has killed as well especially in the film world but he's more into working with the law and justice system as well but that was overtime.
He was a straight up Vigilante at first.
I think he overdid it in BvS with the machine guns and dropping shyt but the BatBrand was dope and sounded like something Batman would do.
In flashpoint and in the TDR and animated films, dude was vicious
4 years later people still can't stop talking about this film
That's the hallmark of a....never mind.
If any movie that people still talk about after 4 years makes it a ...
Then I guess a shytload of movies are a ...
:sadsupes:
I get what OP is saying but if he didn't kill him there would be no government to put sanctions on him hell there'd be no humans. There are beings on earth that could stop superman if he got out of line and killing cosmic threats shouldn't be out of line. Not to mention in the comics when he did kill them they wiped out an entire planet. There is no redeeming that. No kill rule with that would be retarded. He killed another god, nikkaz acting like he killed little Timmy selling newspapers on the corner to help out his struggling dad and siblings.
People saw the spaceships and Zod's message that was worldwide and Metropolis saw Zod wrecking shyt. They were when Kal rightfully snapped his neck.
No, but it certainly seemed to be on your mind.
Nobody is still discussing and dissecting drivel like age of ultron I can tell you that much
I knew you'd take the bait. No, but it certainly seemed to be on your mind.
Speaking of, why is it that you insist fanboy wars are hurting discussions but the first movie you feel like bringing up in a DC thread is a completely unrelated Marvel movie?
I burned your soulYou know damn well that nobody is going to read that long ass whiny shyt.
If that thought helps you not to cry at night, be my guest, breh.I burned your soul
Sad how quick you backed down.If that thought helps you not to cry at night, be my guest, breh.
I knew you'd take the bait.
I bring up age of ultron for one sole reason. And it's not DC vs marvel. It's because age of ultron and your fake love of it is intrinsically connected to man of steel
See MOS,did exactly what Zach set out to do.
Superman returns was the Donner superman fanboys claimed they wanted. It was a critical darling and yet landed with a resounding thud at the box office,an actual flop and complete and total indifference by the general audience.
People were bored of the character. He hadn't evolved with the times, people had moved past him and found him boring.
Along comes Snyder and Nolan.
They KNEW what needed to to be done.
They had to shake up the very core of superman. They had to challenge the previous conceived notions of what it was to be superman, and how he would be perceived in the world.
They knew it would be controversial and divide people.
Snyder knew he had to let super snap zods neck. He knew how it would AFFECT people like you
This is a film that did everything it set out to do.
It shook up superman to the very core. Something sorely needed.
Not only that,it was a resounding success in being unforgettable. It's a film that has stayed in the subconscious of the audience years after release.
The worst thing a film can be is forgettable tripe.
In fact, this is a film so unforgettable that it burned so deep into you as a person that it made you "come to tears" watching age of ultron.
Man of steel is the reason you claim to love age of ultron so much.
Age of ultron as a film is a generic, soulless, blockbuster existing only to make money, with no redeemable story being told, hastily stitched together with a terrible villain.
And yet,it's a film you had to attach love to because man of steel AFFECTED you so deeply that you needed comfort in what you THINK super hero's have to be. By having the avengers spend a good chunk of the 3rd act saving people it brought you to solely because of the 3rd act of man of steel.
Your love of age of ultron is a direct result of your hatred of man of steel.
Man of steel did it's job. It evoked emotion in YOU,so much so that years later you still can't stop discussing it at every opportunity you get.
It made you like a shytty film like age of ultron
If man of steel didn't exist, you would dimiss age of ultron like the thor 2 level film it truly is
That is the success of MOS. It is an unforgettable film that AFFECTED those who watched it.
The worst crime a film can make is being forgettable
So as you have your 1000th paragraph ready to be written about why superman wouldn't do this or that, you don't even realize Snyder did exactly what he set out to do.
