We will likely never again see an era that brought immense creativity, liveliness, excitement, and excellence like the 90's did.

Black people had the best shows and sitcoms. Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Smart Guy, Sister Sister, Martin, Malcolm and Eddie, Living Single, In the House, the list goes on and on. There was such a diverse range of great television that represented us in a positive light.

High quality music and newly explored sounds and styles. So many amazing artists in that one era alone. RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, it was all amazing.

The films...Clueless, Space Jam, Home Alone, Boyz n The Hood, Friday, Titanic. Timeless cinematography that perfectly captured the essence of that era

The up and downs and unity that commenced after the Rodney King/OJ scandal

So much precious time taken for granted. Now that era is looked back with nostalgic undertones, but it's beauty and simplicity will never again be replicated. Truly an era of versatility and expression. Excitement, youth, and fun energy. Excellence. :banderas:

Does op realize that any generation can say the same thing?

The pop and rock dominance of the 80's

Hip Hop with hardly any profanity in the 80's

The classic movies of the 80's

The 80's cartoons with Transformers, G I Joe and Thundercats

Atari and Nintendo and the original Sega, Turbo Grafx 16.

The 80's being the "Just say no" decade

I can also do that with the 70's and the 2000's.

Anyone can do a retro throwback on their era

Wrong

I could only pick out good things and write up the same thing for the 80s

And 70s

And 60s

We could cherry pick what was good for any generation

Back in the 90s Chicago and other cities had even MORE deaths per year and gangs were actually killing over colors. Convienently left that out, huh? :comeon:
