Anyway I've had this "Lupita" conversation with my sister a year ago and broke it down to her, and will break it down to yall as someone whose observed this white tactic for decades

Lupita is an average looking 100% African woman... She's the complete representation of a black/African woman in terms of both her skins tone, phenotypes, face, nose etc etc BUT she is NOT and has NEVER been "beautiful"... She's a regular looking women in her natural state.
There's no African country hostirically that would consider her a dime.

Now why would white people take a ark skin women and PRETEND like she's a sex symbol?... COVERT RACISM
They are dissing HER and us, they're saying "look Lupita is as good looking as black woman get".. Which is not true, there's literally a thread right here on the Coli called "Dark Skin Women Appreciation"... With hundreds of examples of real black/African women darker than Lupita that blow her out the water.

Only “European” standards I can even think of is long straight hair which is attractive on any woman. Outside of mid 90s Nia Long or maybe a handful of others, short hair on women don’t cut it. And even the ones who can pull it off almost always look better with long hair.

Doesnt necessarily have to be straight either, a black woman with a natural Afro will be more than one trying to pull off the Nia Long only to have u like

As far as eye color most of us don't have blue eyes but if you have lighter eyes you're going to get some props on it for the most part. Blond hair works on a very few black women like you said. They probably mean noses when they say European beauty standards because that's something I see mentioned online when a person has a wide nose KRS 1 style. Truth is a nice amount of American black cats nose isn't like that so people going to make fun of it just like if cats got one of those hook noses or some shyt. Besides that can't think of much else but I agree with you but folks love being lazy eps online where that laziness gets you props.

Besides her dark skin what exactly are you referring too and be very specific. what are these features?

Maybe Lupita is a bad example, I was posting on here late. But African features, big eyes, broad nose, broad forehead, big full lips. They’re not typically seen as positive traits to have. It wasn’t until recently that nbw started plumping their lips up. But even black women, it’s not just celebrities that hate their nose, there are normal everyday black women that hate their nose. It’s been pushed on western society that small, symmetrical, European faces are the standard. There is no reason at all a black women should be wearing blonde wigs and weaves because it’s not our natural hair color.
