Yeah I was high off of leaves back then making this thread . On a bright note, it seems like Deej trying to focus more on a NXT style CZW, instead of a blood, guts, and piss one like the glory days.

I tried to binge the shows after covid, and they were all hit-and-miss .

Breh I wanted to give CZW the benefit of the doubt. Yes, it was garbage mudshow nonsense, but they did have some bangers during its heyday:

• Best of the Best (legit tournament for the up and comers ala X Division)
• Your favorite wrestler 9 times out of 10 got trained by Deej and em
• Took the torch that ECW sadly fumbled
• Meme central (Maffew was eating good during the Zandig era)

Overall, it's a two-sided coin. A trashbag hardcore violent sadist garbage product that birthed numerous wrestling stars and different styles to the game.

I liked CZW a lot during the ROH feud. Loved Chris Hero, loved Cheech and Cloudy when they were running with Big Rig Brodie Lee.. was even a Drake Younger fan before he became a Q anon referee


But after like 2010 I left that ultra violent bullshyt in the dust. Moved on to CHIKARA and called it a day

I bought an XPW VHS or two back in the day not knowing it was basically just an avenue for porn stars to promote themselves. Thank God I did not pop in the tape the first time with one of my parents around.

I was big with CZW during my high school years prior to the sale of DJ Hyde. Then I went to college and lost all interest. I went back and started watching some of the stuff I used to watch and I can't connect to it anymore. Death matchs are not for me anymore. I was all over the CZWfans forum back in the day. I stopped watching all wrestling at that point until the All In buzz started up and then AEW. Right now I randomly watch AEW but that's pretty much it.
