nikkas will hunt you for $50 but act like Uncle Sam isn't going to go out to collect thousands

I read a story on CNN Money, USGov is hiring private debt collectors to hunt nikkas down for unpaid parking tickets and tolls :mjlol:

But they not gonna go after people scamming PPP money during a pandemic? Good fukking luck

Y'all remember that list posted on Instagram that showed everybody who got it in their city. All types of random ass businesses and shyt:mjlol:

What's funny is money HR said you don't gotta pay it back as long you use some of it for business expenses.

Smart ones will probably buy products under the guise it's for their business and pocket the rest :patrice:

I got FEMA money in 2005 following hurricane Katrina, they caught up with me in 2016 and garnished every one of my paychecks until they recovered every penny. I can't imagine if I owed a ridiculous amount of money

I’m really interested in how they’ll handle this, especially with conspiracy. They definitely have the ability to make capacity for all of those who committed fraud. All of them.

But on the flip side it would look HORRIBLE for the Biden administration to crack down on it like that. I honestly feel they’ll work something out with the IRS and start taking money out of people’s checks, claiming earnings, until they pay back what they owe. A huge financial penalization will have to be put in place.

If you think about it - how many people did they put away for tax fraud over the years? :ld:

The million dollar offenders are going down unless they’re CACs with connections.

They’re going to get every last one of these PPP fraud cases.

They can't read breh. Dumber than a box of rocks.. Some PPPs were forgivable, some were legit loans.. It was all right there in the application.. All they had to do is ignore the loans and apply for the ones that could be forgiven.. :snoop:
I think you are getting the PPP loan confused with EIDL Loan/Grant.
PPP Loans are forgivable if you prove that you utilized the funds towards keeping your employees on payroll during the term of loan.

EIDL is the one in which you could choose between taking out a loan. Or taking up to 10k in grant money.

Just so people know, the Feds are freezing folks banking accounts who got caught scamming the PPP bread. Someone I know who got the bread got caught and that is what's happening to them right now. They also have a fraud hotline that people can call and snitch to so watch how you brag about it on social media.

The actual penalty for getting caught is paying all the money back with 1% interest.

Yea this is the logic I see scammers using online.
Someone known in my city got caught frauding unemployment for $40k+ and didn't do a day in jail (that camel prom lady)
She had to do a settlement
I could see that being the case for the majority of people except for the extreme 6 figure cases maybe
So many people got some one else to file and gave a cut it's going be a hurt piece when you owe 15k but only got 8k to begin with.
I wonder if ppl will start snitching and the IRS/feds go after the people who filed for other people the hardest

UI is done on a state level..they don’t have the time nor resources to prosecute and lock up en masse, they rather put points on the amount you took and make a profit back on the money. If you don’t pay back then yeah, you’re going to jail.

Federal money is an entirely different monster..you’re talking off just one charge of wire fraud putting you down for 20 years and because that money is tied to a national emergency such as this pandemic, that 20 years goes up to 30 years plus restitution.

That's the more likely option that will happen to people who get caught. Plus you will more than likely never get to claim unemployment again or get assistance from the government. They don't forget that type of fraud done to them lol.
