Their injuries weren't the same. Penny would trade injuries with Grant Hill anyday.

I know penny had a knee injury and grant hill had an ankle injury.Grant hill had 4-5 surgeries on that ankle it was bafflin docs they couldn't figure out the problem

I'm not tryna diss penny.I grew up in that 90's era I watched penny bust pippen and jordan ass and several other players.Just saying him and grant hill were 2 of the top 5-6 and both had injuries destroy their careers at their peaks

Anyone know if he still cakes off each Penny shoe sold?

Yes, because he created his own licensing brand that was separate from the licensing and marketing arm of the team, and the league. IIRC, they were called Air Penny's, which means he is of direct profit.

On the other hand, Penny earns no direct profits from jersey sales, since that is considered part of the marketing arm of the league, which controls national licensing. For players that sell more jerseys than others, they are compensated within the base of their contracts.

Yeah, he still makes money off of it

BE: The Foamposites are one of Nike’s top-selling shoes. What is your current involvement with the Foamposites and which pair is your personal favorite?

Penny: As I am still under contract with Nike, I am involved in the process through speaking to the guys that are building the shoes about what’s coming out next. They’ll show me some colors that have already been made and they’ll ask me what I like, what would I change, and what I would like to be added.

My favorite pair has to be the blue originals. When they first came out in the ’90s it was a shocker because that was before they even started making blue shoes. I also think the solid black and solid white colorways are pretty dope.

That's my Point Gawd lol

Yeah, he's doing good with Nike. They are making crazy colorways of his shoes too.

I dapped you because this is the worst post I have ever read on here or SOHH. Congratulations.

props to Penny for doing this. I read the story about this a while back and I am happy he is trying to pull kids out of that mess. Middle school is the age where those kids could go either way.
