Watched the first couple episodes then checked out, worth getting back in? I think it would have been cool if they tied Dorian Gray in with it.

This was actually a really good episode.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time we've seen someone meet two different versions of the "evil being" character. She didn't seem to recognize her. I guess that means that, even though they're played by the same actress, the "German", "Mexican", and "Jewish" versions of the same character all look different to humans who see them.

Its also interesting to see the contrast between this show and the new Perry Mason show, which takes place probably just a couple of years earlier than this show in the same place. The shows look so different from each other, and both look so different from "LA Confidential".

If you're looking to see some supernatural shyt popping off, dont waste your time. I expected this and was disappointed for the first 3 episodes. Im stay for the actual story and character dynamics.

Watched half of City of Angels 1st episode and thought it was cool.

Came back and gave this a shot. Not what I expected, but its kind of LA Confidential-ish with a lil twist. On esp 6, Ill be checking for the OG when Im done w/ this.

Lets be honest half of the characters in this show is uninteresting. Whoever casted the Mexican family and that whole storyline had to be a cac and to be honest they went full over the shark with homegirl playing all of those different characters . Seems like they wrote the show around her getting an emmy or some shyt

Nathan Lane and the outside characters were more interesting than the main cast
