It's so funny watching all the nikkas who was around during the 70s who were in the game basically laughing at the American Gangster movie like ":mjlol: :stopitslime:" at the notion Frank was this huge Harlem drug lord. It would be the equivalent of like 30 years now someone made a movie about ASAP Rocky and he made himself Jay-z status.

Damn.

He put that Frank Lucas myth to bed. I didn't know Pee Wee was that big of a drug dealer. I knew he sold drugs but not on the drug lord level. He's a real dude though. I know he misses the luxurious lifestyle the way he talks about it.

According to the interview itself, he never sold drugs in his life. He only robbed jewelry stores.

What he said was, he financed a drug empire.

VladTV: Pee Wee Kirkland on Being Basketball Star While Running Drug Empire

Later on in the conversation Pee Wee Kirkland discusses his ties to drugs and other crimes that eventually led to him serving time (or what he calls a "federal vacation"). Admitting he got caught in the illusion of it all, Pee Wee made it clear he's never sold drugs, but did partake in robbing a series of jewelry stores. "I never sold drugs. Never. What I did was I was involved with the life of crime not too far after I started basketball," Kirkland voiced to DJ Vlad, adding that it "put me in a position to be able to finance what eventually became a drug empire."

he talks about he shyt people want to hear.
Yall act like he's making people watch his shyt.

DJ Vlad used to be a shythead. He's actually redeemed himself, at least from a journalistic standpoint, within the past year or so. He's done countless invaluable interviews the past year imo.

Its that DJ Akademiks that's the new culture vulture. Does nothing but read out articles, and add his own spin to what's actually going on. Turned into the hip hop Alex Jones.

"Then you got the bitter nikkas who broke now but talk about having 5 rolexes in 1986"

lol the absolute worst....

'Same old nikkas that had it, be the same old nikkas that ratted',

It's cliche at this point, for the bitter older dudes to start with their passive aggressive stories, about how they used to get it, same sloppy, drunk, grandstanding in front of bytches...
