I salute Pee Wee for not blaming his mama for his ending up in prison. Too often people make excuses for doing things that have adverse consequences because they were dealt a bad hand or because their parents couldn't provide them with an environment or situation that was perfect. His whole perspective on that is dope. He ain't want these folks trying to tell his story and trying put his people in a bad light. He also has some fukking sense about him, realizing that it ain't worth it to talk about everything and everyone and that there still is some value in keeping your mouth fukking shut. Got some jewels in this interview, brehs.

Sound like a hater to me. Sorry not buying that he was bigger than Frank.
Im not even a fan of Frank, but he was getting his shyt directly from the source. Dont get no purer than that. Anything above that is basically Cartel Boss status.
I think hes skimming and just talking about Frank Lucas' early years. There mustve been some basis to American Gangster. No way a sorry ass snitch just convinced the world he was a don :mjlol:

Well if he wasnt getting it from the source then yea, they prolly right.
Im jus saying, I thought he really was, and if that was true then its no way he was getting more money than Frank
all he said was American gangsta was bullshyt. He didn't bring over heroin the way he said he did. He never once said he made more money or anything like that.

I wonder if all them old school dope boys still got money tucked away....
Case by case. But if you're a real hustler you're always gonna find ways to make money, so even if the money is not tucked away they can always make some

Then you got the bitter nikkas who broke now but talk about having 5 rolexes in 1986

Yeah no one is saying Frank Lucas wasn't a drug dealer, he was, but he was just one of the many of that era. He wasn't a stand out. Now I'm not saying this for fact because obviously I wasn't there, but that's how his contemporaries say. And you can say they're bitter because he got a movie, but Guy Fisher, Nicky Barnes, Pee Wee Kirkland, Frank Mathews etc, no one ever disputes they were legendary in the streets. You would think one person from that era would come out and cosign Frank's story yet nobody has. Like I said I'm sure he made a couple millions selling heroin but that's far different then how he portrays himself. He acted like he was bigger than Nicky Barnes.
