It has some parallels. I think this is faster paced though. Likely due to the 6 episode British format.
That sex scene with Campbell and Polly...
I didn't think he'd actually go through with it. And now all he's done is turn young Mike into a goon

breh, mike born a goon, he got goon blood. mike came and sought out the goon life ASAP. shelby in other languages mean thoro ass white boys. now the females are a whole other story. mikes moms 
That was a decent finale. 
It was pretty obvious one of the hitters Campbell sent after Tommy would end up saving him; so while the scene was great and all that it wasn't really mind-blowing.
Arthur survived the season but I'm not sure he'll survive another one.
John still wants to save Lizzie. The heart wants what it wants.
Campbell stays getting shot. Breh really thought Polly would let him struggle sweet talk his way out of getting that work. :whatsthat:Good riddance tbh, there's no way the show could have gone another season with the Tommy and Campbell storyline.
Tommy is obviously going to try marry Grace. May will play the jealous lover next season and try to screw over Tommy with the licences.
Young Mike the gawd setting the agenda for the next season: "I decided. I want to make real money. With you." Peaky fooking Blinders about to get it in for season 3
Give this season an 8/10. Not quite as good as the first but still quality and sets up season 3 nicely

Just finished the 2nd season and all I have to say is
Can't believe thecoli is sleeping on this. It's a perfect show for the brehs - unless you are bothered by the soundtrack, something I really couldn't care less and actually like it :manny - and it's better than Boardwalk Empire.

You just know Michael is gonna cause Polly to betray Tommy somehow.
Sam Neil better NOT have survived that. Incredible role but his job is done in the series.

Tom Hardy is too fukking intense
he leaves you with the feeling he's gonna rip someone apart at any second.
