Everyone said they won with defense last playoffs. Everyone says they're a defensive team this year.
He gets his credit because in the playoffs he's money despite the lack of talent around him. The FG drive to send it to OT, the runs on 4th down that got the firsts, and the game winning drive are why he gets his due.
They had a rookie in Rice, MVS, Justin Watson, and Mecole at WR. Next to Baltimore that was easily the worst WR group in the playoffs.
You want him throwing for 5000 and 50? You play to your personnel. They didn't have guys who could separate and they lead the league in drops. You have to lean on the run and the defense.
Hollywood and Rice are gone. Worthy still learning the system so they're essentially back with a bad WR group yet it's a surprise that the passing numbers are down.
We've seen this movie before so no one's making a big deal because they know how it ends.
