I hate dealing with car dealerships....MFs are predators

You gotta go in with financing already in place, and a firm price you wanna buy the car at.

Also don't even bring up trade in until you agree on a price, they will try to use that to fukk you 100%.

I walk right out when they mention anything lower the KBB value for trade in.. they get you coming and going if they can

Could never be me. If you don't have the funds, you don't buy the car. Car salesmen are infamous for their lack of honor. My car was bought used directly from the last owner. :hubie:

Buyers are also infamous for their lack of honor hence the saying “Buyers are liars.”

Car salesmen are the middleman trying to make a deal make sense to the man behind the desk and also trying to make it make sense to the customer in front of them. A solid car salesmen will know how to work both parties.

It’s funny when folk complain about getting finessed when you walk into a dealership trying to do the same thing shopping a vehicle or getting the best number for your trade which usually is an outrageous number to begin with.

No lies told.

Had to get a new car. Went the day before the new year. Inventory had to go. Put them busters in a crux.

Told them youngins that we're going talk about the price of the new car. Nothing else.

Deal completed. Then trade my non-running whip for additional monies. Blassic.

I mean yea that’s literally what you said
its literally not what i said though

dealerships robbing more folks than a lot of this crimewave talk tbh
Def similar. Voluntarily signing up for a loan vs having things taken from you by force
but obviously you want to be that guy after a long day at work so do you :mjlol:

and if you want to split *more* hairs about what i *might* be implying, run the numbers on the number of americans paying 12% interest or more on an autoloan and lay that out against reported thefts and burglaries. opportunistic exploitation at a dealership is literally standard practice

He said "thats the cash price :whoa: "

I own 2 cars, bought one on Craigslist and the other was parked in a driveway with a For Sale sign in the window. Both times were way less stressful than any dealership experience. The whole vibe in those places is off.

0 sympathy. The car is a depreciating asset. If you can't put at least 50% down on that price of the car, you should not be buying that car period
